Finnlines promotes international trade by providing efficient, high-quality sea transport services and port services, mainly to meet the requirements of the European industrial, commercial and transport sectors as well as private travellers.
In 2011 the company employed an average of 2,076 persons, half of which on shore and the other half at sea.

RECRUITMENT
The aim of recruitment is to ensure that Finnlines has an adequate, competent, skilled and motivated staff. The company encourages its employees to acquire a wide knowledge and varied experience from the Group and to have job rotation. Vacancies are usually first advertised inside the Group, and additionally external recruitment channels may be used when needed.
