NEW! Recliner seats (on selected routes)

Recliner seats are economical way to travel, available on routes: Finland-Germany, Poland-Germany, Poland-Finland. Windowed room is close to other onboard services.

Addition to the seats, deck passengers also get to use safety deposit boxes and saunas with jacuzzis (separate for men and women).

Deck passenger must be at least 6 years old. Ages between 6-17 go for half the price.

FINNLINES UPDATE: The situation during the weekend 17-18th April 2010

Finnlines operates all routes normally during the weekend 17-18th April 2010.

Due to the boosted demand our call center is open exceptionally also on Saturday and Sunday 10:00-15:00, although with limited resources. Please call +358 10 343 4500. We apologize for any delays caused by crowded lines.

To help grounded flight passengers in distress we also exceptionally book pedestrian passengers on the Naantali-Kapellskär-Naantali route on this weekend's sailings.
Most of our departures during the weekend have very few free places left. We recommend our customers to search for space and book online. During next week (from 19th April) there is still some free space on most of our departures and routes.

FINNLINES NOTICE TO PASSENGERS on lines Travemünde- Helsinki Rostock-Gdynia-Helsinki and Naantali-Kapellskär

The stevedorer’s union in Finland has issued a strike warning. They have announced the start of a strike as from 4.3.2010.

In case realized this will affect our passenger services on Travemünde - Helsinki and Rostock-Gdynia-Helsinki and Naantali-Kapellskär routes.

Other possible solidarity strikes may also have an effect on Finnlines operations.

Finnlines will try to continue operating passenger traffic with the Star–class vessels on Travemünde - Helsinki route.

The Naantali-Kapellskär route will most likely operate normally.

We will attempt to contact all customers affected by the strike. In cases where we are forced to cancel departures, and cannot offer viable alternatives, we will refund prepaid reservation.

You are kindly advised to follow updates on our web-sites. In addition our call centers work normally and you can contact them or the check-in points in respective port for further information.

Finnlines Reopens the Passenger Route to Poland

Ten weekly departures on the Travemünde-Helsinki route, three departures on Helsinki-Gdynia and Gdynia-Travemünde routes

On 2 June, Finnlines is to open two new fast, reliable and comfortable Motorways of the Sea for cargo and passengers in the Baltic, between Finland and Poland (Helsinki-Gdynia) and between Poland and Germany (Gdynia- Travemünde), featuring three sailings per week each. At the same time Travemünde-Helsinki-sailings are increased from nine to ten per week.

All of the departures on the Travemünde- Helsinki; Helsinki-Gdynia and Gdynia- Travemünde routes are operated by the world’s largest Ro-ro passenger ferries in terms of cargo capacity: the five “Star Class” sisterships, all of them built in 2006 and 2007. Each of these huge units can carry up to 4,200 lane metres of trailers, lorries, busses and cars while transporting in the maximum comfort and leisure to 500 passengers in 200 cabins.

Faster and safer

The crossing between Finland and Poland is takes only 19 hours, while the direct connection from Helsinki to Travemünde is completed in in 27 hours. As for the Gdynia- Travemünde, the first Motorway of the Sea between Germany and Poland: the route is completed in 15 hours.
