Finnlines will continue operating the Travemünde – Helsinki- route normally. &lt;br /&gt;Departures from Helsinki Mon- Sat at 5.30 p.m. and Sun at 3.00 p.m. and from Travemünde everyday at 3.00 a.m. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The operation of the Rostock- Gdynia- Helsinki- route will cease for the duration of the strike. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Naantali- Kapellskär -route will operate normally. Note posssible chages in schedule due to current bad ice conditions.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;The stevedorer’s union in Finland has issued a strike warning. They have announced the start of a strike as from 4.3.2010. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In case realized this will affect our passenger services on &lt;a href="https://online.finnlines.fi/bokning/EN/package.asp?type=&amp;amp;mode=new" target="booking"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Travemünde - Helsinki&lt;/b&gt; and &lt;b&gt;Rostock-Gdynia-Helsinki&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href="https://passenger.finnlink.fi/bokning/en/package.asp?type=&amp;amp;mode=new" target="booking"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Naantali-Kapellskär&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt; routes. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Other possible solidarity strikes may also have an effect on Finnlines operations. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Finnlines will try to continue operating passenger traffic with the Star–class vessels on Travemünde - Helsinki route.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Naantali-Kapellskär route will most likely operate normally. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We will attempt to contact all customers affected by the strike. In cases where we are forced to cancel departures, and cannot offer viable alternatives, we will refund prepaid reservation. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You are kindly advised to follow updates on our web-sites.       <title>Finnlines Reopens the Passenger Route to Poland</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Ten weekly departures on the Travemünde-Helsinki route, three departures on Helsinki-Gdynia and Gdynia-Travemünde routes&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;On 2 June, Finnlines is to open two new fast, reliable and comfortable Motorways of the Sea for cargo and passengers in the Baltic, between Finland and Poland (Helsinki-Gdynia) and between Poland and Germany (Gdynia- Travemünde), featuring three sailings per week each. At the same time Travemünde-Helsinki-sailings are increased from nine to ten per week. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;All of the departures on the Travemünde- Helsinki; Helsinki-Gdynia and Gdynia- Travemünde routes are operated by the world’s largest Ro-ro passenger ferries in terms of cargo capacity: the five “Star Class” sisterships, all of them built in 2006 and 2007. Each of these huge units can carry up to 4,200 lane metres of trailers, lorries, busses and cars while transporting in the maximum comfort and leisure to 500 passengers in 200 cabins.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Faster and safer&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The crossing between Finland and Poland is takes only 19 hours, while the direct connection from Helsinki to Travemünde is completed in in 27 hours.
