Star Class Vessels - Finnstar, Finnlady, Finnmaid, Nordlink and Europalink

The modern Star vessels carry 500 passengers. These new vessels have excellent facilities and services; a buffet restaurant, bar, an onboard shop, a gym and a sauna section with a jacuzzi for both men and women. All facilities and services are on deck 11.

Cabins

There are nine cabin categories to choose from, including cabins for passengers with impaired mobility as well as passengers travelling with pets. Cabin size ranges from 10m² to 38m². For traveling families we have great accommodation alternatives. You can either opt for a cabin that has bunk beds in addtion to the twin beds or two cabins with a connecting door. All cabins have their own toilet / shower, satellite TV and phone.Cabins are located on decks 7-9.

Meals

Finnlines vessels are known for their excellent food. Meals are served in the ship´s self service buffet restaurant. The menu is based on familiar favourites from Finnish and German cuisine. Milk, water and fruit juice are served free with meals. Beer, wine and other alcoholic beverages can be purchased at the restaurant bar.

Mealtimes vary depending on the departure port.

Children's Activities

The two play areas for children onboard are located next to each other. One is for smaller children to play with toys, draw or colour pursue other crafts or just climb around, whilst the other is a games room for older kids, complete with gaming equipment.

Bar Navigare

At Bar Navigare you can enjoy a wide variety of excellent beers, drinks and wines. Our highly skilled bartenders can assist with wine selections or whip up a fantastic drink. From Bar Navigare you can also purchase your drinks during dinner. Please see the travel itinerary for opening hours.

Sauna and Gym

Onboard there are two Finnish style sauna suites (one for men and one for women), each with a post-sauna relaxation area with a jacuzzi and a beautiful view. The saunas are open almost throughout the journey, for no extra charge. The use of the compact gym next to the saunas is included in the fare

Sailor's Shop

You can also do some shopping during the voyage. Our compact yet well stocked Sailor’s Shop sells cosmetics, jewelry, sweets, souvenirs, textiles, design items, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages and snacks. Even though the range of products is limited, care has been taken that the prices are customer-friendly and the products of high quality. Some of the products are well worth looking at, because they can only be found in a few places on land.

Since the Sailor's Shop is open for only a few hours each day. Check out the opening hours from the travel itinerary, which is available at the reception.

Pets

An easier way to travel with your pet is hard to find. We have special cabins, exercising areas and we even have a very much needed tree stump. Before taking your pet abroad, please check the existing restrictions and regulations from your local authorities.

Conferences, Training sessions

Need a place to hold

If booked in advance, the conference areas are available to fare-paying groups at no extra charge.

The new vessels have well-equipped conference facilities for up to 50 participants. Their layout can be arranged to provide a single large area (142 sq. metres), two separate ones (107 and 35 sq. metres) or three conference rooms (72, 35 and 35 sq. metres)

In addition to the basic conference facility items, the technical equipment in the conference facilities includes DVD players, data projectors, screens and loudspeakers.

.Vessels

Finnlines has introduced three large new-generation passenger-cargo vessels on the Helsinki-Travemünde route in autumn 2006 and in spring 2007.

The new vessels are the biggest, fastest and most comfortable of their type in service anywhere in the world. Each of them has room for 500 passengers with their vehicles. The one-way sailing time between Helsinki and Travemünde is only 27 hours.
