Drivers travelling from Sweden to Germany
Sweden has been classified as a high-incidence area in Germany. As from Saturday evening 6 March 2021, passengers aged six years or older must present a negative COVID-19 test result at the check-in (see exceptions). The test must have been taken earliest 48 hours before arrival in Germany. In addition, please fill in a Digital Registration on Entry and show the confirmation you get at the check-in. Please follow the instructions regarding coronavirus tests and home quarantine.
As of Wednesday 10 March, SCANTEST offers drop-in testing for Covid-19 at Malmö Harbor, Norra Hamnen, in connection with Finnlines check-in. SCANTEST offers rapid antigen tests to all passengers and drivers travelling with Finnlines from Malmö to Travemünde. The tests will be provided by qualified health care professionals. The rapid antigen test takes 15 minutes and costs 399 SEK including a test certificate.
