Navigating stormy waters calmly
As a northern European carrier, Finnlines is used to navigating both clement and stormy weather. Finnlines intends to remain a pillar of stability in turbulent times.
Motorway of the sea
Nearly 90% of Finland’s import and export traffic is transported via waterways and shipping is of high importance to the Finnish industry and welfare. In this sense, Finland can be considered an island.
Ports make development possible
The Port of Naantali and the Port of Kapellskär are currently investing heavily in enhancing their own functions and services while also considering environmental views. In addition to environmental issues the focus is on logistical integrations and on increasing safety.
Larger and more energy efficient
Finnlines ordered two environmentally friendly Superstar ro-pax vessels in December 2019.
Finnlines extends North Sea Services
Identifying customers’ needs and continuously developing its service products are few of the main values for Finnlines.
Safety first
Ships must meet many international safety standards before they can start operating. Moreover, all crew members have been trained to act in unlikely event of a real emergency.
