Departures at 21:45, 22:00, 02:45, and 03:00: check-in opens 3 hours before departure and closes one hour before departure. In other departures, the check-in opens 2 hours before departure.

Electric cars

There are two charging points for electric cars in front of the Hafenhaus building in Travemünde. 

Arriving to Travemünde harbour

Arriving from direction Hamburg / south, take the highway A1 to Lübeck and stay on it until you reach the intercharge “20 / Bad Schwartau”. Here you change to highway A226 direction Lübeck-Travemünde and stay on that road up to EXIT “Skandinavienkai”. The road takes you automatically to the Finnlines check-in. Tip: You can type to your navigator Skandinavienkai or Zum Hafenplatz as a destination.

There is an unguarded long-term parking for €6/day. You will purchase the parking ticket at the gate of the long-term parking, payable later on at the machine next to the LHG Info Counter in the Hafenhaus.

You can also travel to Travemünde harbour by public transportation. Buses 30, 31 and 42 operate between Lübeck and the Travemünde harbour.
The nearest bus stop to the passenger terminal is Skandinavienkai Terminal.

Alternatively, you can also take the train to Travemünde harbour. The nearest train station to the terminal is Lübeck-Travemünde Skandinavienkai, from where you can continue on bus lines 30 and 40 to the terminal, stopping at Skandinavienkai Terminal. Note that there is no pedestrian path from the train station to the terminal.
