Conditions for special and standard prices

Please read the conditions for special and standard priced trips before booking your trip.

The payment, modification and cancellation conditions depend on the route and the fare type.

Finnlines has special and standard fare types. Special fare depends on booking day's and preferred departure's capcity. There is a restricted amount of special priced trips available and their booking time ends latest when the check-in for the departure opens. Fixed standard fares without an offer code depend only on departure time and they are available as long as there is free capacity on the departure.

Star Club campaign: The departure date of the online booking can be changed twice

Star Club members will be granted amended modification terms to all new special category bookings made directly through the Finnlines online booking system.

The amended terms are as follows:

Special fare

  • payment immediately upon booking
  • no modifications allowed
  • in case of cancellation there is no refund
  • special fares apply to passenger, cabin, and vehicle fares
  • special fares do not apply to pets, meals, on-board services, or vehicles for the transport of animals (e.g. horses or dog teams)
  • special fares apply to new bookings only
  • can not be combined with any other discounts except 20% return discount and 3% Star Club membership discount
  • not available for groups
  • restricted availability
  • subject to alterations

  • cancellations of trip or part of the trip possible according to Finnlines conditions of carriage
  • on return trips –20 percent discount on the return part of the trip
