Passengers with vehicles and cyclists drive straight ahead from Travemünde Landstraße into the harbor and then turn right along the fence to the check-in container. Passengers on foot turn left before the harbor entrance in the direction of the harbor house.

Check-in opens at 20:30 and closes 2 hours before departure. (The evening before)
Travemünde–Malmö
Departures at 21:45 and 22:00, 02:45, and 03:00: check-in opens 3 hours before departure and closes one hour before departure. (The evening before)

Arriving to Travemünde harbour
Arriving from direction Hamburg / south, take the highway A1 to Lübeck and stay on it until you reach the interchange “20 / Bad Schwartau”. Here you change to highway A226 direction Lübeck-Travemünde and stay on that road up to EXIT “Skandinavienkai”. The road takes you automatically to the Finnlines check-in.
Tip: You can type to your navigator Skandinavienkai or Zum Hafenplatz as a destination.
There is an unguarded long-term parking for €6/day. You will purchase the parking ticket at the gate of the long-term parking, payable later on at the machine next to the LHG Info Counter in the Hafenhaus.
Arrival from the direction of Hamburg:
Take the regional train RE8 to the station Lübeck-Travemünde Skandinavienkai.
In front of the station, you’ll find the Rönnauer Weg bus stop, where you can transfer to bus line 36 heading towards Roter Hahn.
Get off at the Skandinavienkai Terminal stop.
Departure towards Hamburg:
Board bus line 36 at the Skandinavienkai Terminal stop, heading towards Travemünde Priwallfähre.
Get off at Rönnauer Weg and transfer to train RE8 towards Hamburg Hbf, or to RE86 towards Lübeck Hbf.

Please make sure to check the latest times in the timetables. Note that the last bus number 36 departs for the railway stop at 22:11. If you are travelling later, we recommend booking a taxi in advance.
