Antwerp
Centrally located port for both overseas cargoes as well as short sea shipping with good facilities for logistics services. The port of Antwerp is Finnlines' main continental port in the North Sea area.
Thanks to the geographical location of Antwerp on the river Scheldt, goods are already near to the customer when they land in the port. Free capacity guarantees short waiting times and fast turnaround for ships. Combined with a very high productivity this gives Antwerp a reputation of a fast port.
Antwerp has also by far the largest warehouse capacity in Europe with more than 5.3 m² million of covered storage space. The presence of numerous European distribution centres also reflects the logistics advantages of Belgium.
The port does also offer an excellent multimodal network between the port and Europe: goods can be further transported by road, barge, rail, pipeline, shortsea and feeder. On top of that, numerous maritime connections are available from Antwerp to ports all over the world.
Finnlines calls at Antwerp Euroterminal (AET, berth 1333).
