A big day for Finnlines as the Finneco III was officially named!

The naming ceremony of Finnlines’ new hybrid ro-ro vessel, Finneco III, was celebrated in Vuosaari Harbour on 6 September 2022.

The tradition of naming or christening a ship goes back centuries, and is believed to bring good luck and safe travel. Mrs Sirpa Ranki, representing Metsä Group, had the honor of breaking a bottle of champagne against the bow.
